|8. CREATE A LANGUAGE VILLAGE !|
This idea implies dedicating a specific place on or outside campus to the language village, a little bit like the EPCOT Center in Florida does to represent various cultures.
The main issue is that you need speakers. You need to populate the village in opening positions for “villagers” in the various professions you want to see represented: restaurant managers and landlords, grocers, salesclerks, newsdealers, hairdressers, pharmacists, dry-cleaners, and folks for ice-cream parlors, parlor washes, print & copy shops, computer businesses, stores and boutiques, internet cafes, etc. for all kinds of professions students need, whose employees will only speak the target language.
